I'm going to have to return it because my father already bought one for us and didn't tell us until now. We never had a chance to actually use the futon, but it looks very comfortable. It looks about 5-6 inches thick which means after a couple of days of use it will likely flatten out to a normal futon 3" thickness.

I purchased this for my preschooler's bedroom, as it's a small room and even a twin bed would have been a tight squeeze. I love being able to roll the bed up and give him more room to play. I am using twin sheets, with sheet suspenders to hold them in place. The twin sheet length is actually perfect, but they are wider than the mattress, hence the suspenders. My mattress does not have a strong smell, thankfully.

This was on my Fiancee's wish list. I purchased it from FutonFurnitures' amazon store. The item arrived quickly and in good condition. I let my Fiancee open it early as we had just set up the Christmas tree and we wanted to sleep near the tree to enjoy the ambiance. She said it was the best she had slept in a long time. She has ordered one for me for Christmas now and I eagerly await my floor futon (shikibuton).
